Blood Omen 2 Cosplay - Umah by xChelsea-Daggerx Blood Omen 2 Cosplay - Umah by xChelsea-Daggerx
Taken at the London MCM Expo 2011.

Costume made by me. Umah is one of my favourite characters from the Legacy of Kain series, and she's one of my favourite costumes to wear to a convention IF I'm feeling confident enough. I had to change a few of the details this time around, such as a new wig/ponytail, and some new boots. I quite liked the new version. I still feel this photo needs more blood!

For a brief description for those unfamiliar with the series:

Character: Umah
Cosplayer: Myself (*xChelsea-Daggerx)
Series: Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain (videogame)
Photographer: Vicky Ovel
Shoulder Guard: Made by Simon (Iceni Militaria A.K.A Hanger #39)

-Give me your blood, Umah, please!
-Tell me child. Do you see me as the Queen of Nosgoth?
-Yes I see it!
-Then you shall die knowing I have style in cosplay...

ahh, wow! I really like what you've done with the costume :) and I think this shade of purple is the exact same Umah wears in blood omen... I haven't seen many costumes that match it, but yours does!

Thank you :) I took reference from cover art for the xbox, hence the reason why mine is such a dark shade of purple: [link] But unfortunately, the end result isn't as detailed ^^ It's a shame that LOK cosplay is rare at local conventions.
Great job on the shoulder pad. What was it made of?

I honestly am not sure as I am not the one who made it ^^; I will have to update the infomation once I know (after making another visit to their shop) ^^
Wasn't aware there was a shop you could buy stuff like that. Any cosplay I've done (two lol) involved a lot of staples. or heated foam

Yeah it's was great! Otherwise the outfit couldn't have been made atal. The weapons I have comissioned are all made out of MDF wood if that helps. I always try and get the difficult parts done first. Unfortunately they don't reeeeally deal online which is a shame :( Sewing can be a b*tch when you're not familiar with it. But I know nothing about foam >< Maybe about carving space foam, but that's about it X'D
